“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."

“What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well.”

"Go and look again at the roses. You will understand now that yours is unique in all the world.”

The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

The Little Prince is a petite inhabitant of a tiny planet where he tends a single rose. In his travels, he encounters other worlds all obsessed with strange illusions. This story touches both heart and soul while exploring beauty, love, fear and dreams in purest terms. The author cleverly mocks the small-minded, materialistic existence of adults while revealing the significance of the idealistic, imaginary world of a child.  Beautiful in its original French format, I recommend this enchanting book for young and old alike. Everyone should read this book at least twice.
